Because life as you know it on Gor, does. 10. do Not sit idle, roam the house, see to refills, if no Free have need, find a chore, and Do Not forget to check the Free now and then. 11. The use of (my) Master and (my) Mistress should not be used here, this slaves, this girls, this boys, M/M are preferred uses (granted the use of My Master. My Mistress is in the books. yet to some it looks and sounds as if the slave owns the Owner in its use so refrain from doing so in Hunjer and Reflections.) 12. All slaves not of the Home must do a proper entrance (obeisance) to enter and Upon Entering, go to the slave mats/furs or your Owner’s furs. 6. Lazy slaves are not tolerated in Reflections. If not in service to Free Person, there are always chores that need to be done. If you need direction contact the First girl. There are no slave mats, slaves are to keep moving serve, do chores
7. Any disagreement between slaves should be taken to private message. It is not permissible to fight or argue in front of the Free. Remember, the Free do not concern themselves with the squabbles of slaves.
9. By definition the Free are never wrong. slaves in Reflections will not argue, or disagree with a Free Person. If a Free Person tells you the grass is blue and the sky is green, then it should be so. If it is not, then it is your job as kajirae to make it so.
Please note that in the some parts of Gor, Jarl and Lady can be used instead Master and Mistress. A good start will be to use Master and Mistress. If corrected, apologize profusely and be sure to use these terms to Them in future.
If you don't know the gender of a Free Person, often checking their profile can give you an indication. If this fails, Always call them Master. If you are corrected, apologize profusely and ensure you don't make the error again. All Free People have their nick capitalized, while all slaves set their nick to be lowercase. slaves cap Free Persons (Master/Mistress) Names and the words Master, Mistress, You, Them, They, any word referring to a Free Person is Capped.
Serve Every Jarl/Master or Mistress/Lady as if your well being depends on being pleasing.
ALL slaves will be expected to do a full and complete proper entrance (obeisance) to beg entry into the Home. The only exceptions to this are if you are a slave of the home, enter through side door kneel then enter to mat/furs or if you got booted or went afk. Basically, a proper entrance is:
*slipping to your knees, to bend at your waist. Then pressing hands far before you, with fingers splayed. A cheek or forehead must touch the ground/floor. Some girls press there lips in a gentle kiss.*
Then on a separate line, you beg to enter.
Please note that in the scrolls/books, begging of entry was not that common. However, the use of a form of obeisance was done in the books, slaves must remain pleasing to the Free and if this entails begging of entry, then that shall be. As well as obtaining permission to greet/speak after entering, but this is a room preference. If unsure when in a new room, just ask someone. Usually proper entrance (obeisance) and nadu is preferred, but again ask each room separately.
Free People greet other Free with "Tal" and the slaves with 'greetings lil ones' (or something similar). Yes, in the books slaves used tal, but here We wish to keep it separate.
Slaves meet with 'greetings Master or Mistress, and when a slave greets another slave they may say greetings ___ or greetings sisters, greetings brothers etc.
